香港交響管樂團 The Hong Kong Symphonic Winds 於2013年6月2日被刊登在香港有線電視。該節目是《小事大意義》一系列的一部分，該系列帶出鼓勵香港的故事。

香港電台第四台『四台插班生』

《四台插班生》是本港唯一古典音樂雜誌式節目，由香港電台第四台製作，逢星期六下午二時正至四時正播放。香港交響管樂團很榮幸於2015年10月24日接受《四台插班生》的訪問。
《R4 Buddies》 is a classical music program produced by RTHK Radio4, broadcast lively on Saturdays from 2 - 4 pm. HKSW was honoured to be interviewed by Raymond in 《R4 Buddies》on 24th October, 2015.

【大公報訊】記者劉毅報道：由香港交響管樂團主辦的“音樂奇緣”音樂會，復活節期間在香港文化中心音樂廳演出，以充滿童趣的舞台氛圍，配上經典卡通電影流行曲，以及世界經典交響樂曲目，吸引家長及孩童到場聆聽，現場座無虛席。

小觀眾“盛裝”出席

演出開場前，可看到多個身?“盛裝”的孩童前來，有的穿“冰雪奇緣”公主裙，亦有穿白雪公主裙。對此，香港交響管樂團音樂總監李樹昇接受本報記者採訪時表示：“在香港，交響音樂會總是要求觀者正裝出席，但我們這次允許家長可以給他們的孩子穿上可愛一點、卡通一些的衣服。”他認為，台下身穿公主服的小觀眾，亦是舞台演出的一部分。

李樹昇介紹整場音樂會時表示，音樂會背景故事是一個森林王國，森林王國的國王為了慶祝王國誕生，邀請來自霍格沃茨學校的學生、城堡裏的幽靈公主，獅子王，以及埃及王子等一起在森林裏聚會，“當然他們不會真的來到現場，我們的團員會?公主服以及魔法學校校服等坐在舞台上進行表演。”李樹昇説：“以往的交響音樂會，台上的表演者總是身穿黑白色禮服，但這次為了能拉近與觀眾距離，演出者也會穿上可愛的卡通世界裏的服裝吹奏單簧管、小號，以及色士風。”

《四台插班生》是本港唯一古典音樂雜誌式節目，由香港電台第四台製作，逢星期六下午二時正至四時正播放。繼2012年8月，香港交響管樂團很榮幸再於2013年11月2日獲邀接受訪問，分享同年夏季樂團到荷蘭參予世界管樂大賽的經歷。又介紹11月17日假香港大會堂舉行的年度音樂會《極激貝多芬》的節目內容。身為當晚的獨奏者，團員之一的陳中豪更即場演出一段薩克管樂曲。

《R4 buddies》 is Hong Kong's only classical music radio programme. It is produced by RTHK Radio 4 and is broadcast live every Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm. Following on from their interview in August 2012, the Hong Kong Symphonic Winds was very proud to be invited back again to the show. During the interview on 2nd November 2013 we shared our experiences of taking part in the World Music Contest in Kerkrade, Holland during the summer of 2013 and announced that the HKSW annual concert will be held on 17th November in the City Hall concert hall. This year's concert is entitled "Extreme Beethoven". During the programme, HKSW member Mr Jeffrey Chan, who will be the saxophone soloist for the upcoming concert gave a short musical demonstration.

二零一三年七月，香港交響管樂團衝出香港，奔向世界舞台了！樂團終於來到荷蘭的凱爾克拉特（Kerkrade），首場音樂會在市中心廣場，一幢古色古香的建築物前舉行，我們演出了幾首中國音樂，觀眾紛紛報以熱烈的掌聲。至「世界管樂大賽」的比賽當天，我們與來自世界各地的樂團同場較技，既興奮又緊張。歷時半年多的集訓，加上臨場發揮穩定，終讓我們在「Harmony First division」組別中，奪得金獎，載譽歸來！此趟歐洲之行，除了參加比賽，樂團亦在德國的科恩伯格（Kornberg）作短暫停留，並與一隊歷史悠久的管樂團交流，在一個逾百年歷史的建築物內演出，聲音之甜美，氣氛之融和，實在難以筆墨來形容。這次交流，更成為當地報章的一項新聞報道。

In July 2013, the HKSW has brought its members to expand footprint in Europe. The HKSW finally came to the Netherlands, Kerkrade. Performed first in the town square in front of a quiant European architectural structure, we performed a few pieces of Chinese music, receiving rapturous applause.

On the World Music Contest day, we competed in the Harmony First Divihison with many others bands from around the world with a mix of excitement and nerves. After an intensive training of more than six months, coupled with a steady performance in real time, we finally won the gold medal.

In this Europe tour, besides the Contest, the HKSW has also paid a brief visit to Kornberg in Germany to have an exchanging programme with a long-running local band. Performing in an historical building for more than a century, the exquisite sound and superb harmony resounded are just beyond words. This exchange programme has also generated local media coverage.

《AV Magazine》 provides analysis and trends in Hi-Fi and audio visual equipment. It is published weekly on Fridays. HKSW was honoured to be interviewed by 《AV Magazine》 and the interview is featured in the Augest 17 issue.
