畢業於國立藝術學院（現臺北藝術⼤大學）⾳音樂系，師事劉劉榮義教授；德國國立岱特摩⾳音樂院（Hochshule für Musik Detmold）藝術家演奏碩⼠士⽂文憑，師事Gernot Schmalfuss；室內樂演奏⽂文憑，師事Gernot Schmalfuss、Hans-Dietrich Klaus、Helman Jung與Hans-Jörg Wegner。
在德留留學期間曾多次擔任學校樂團雙簧管⾸首席並參參與岱特摩室內樂團（Detmolder Kammerorchester）於德國各地巡迴；並組成簧片三重奏（Trio d’Anche）參參與各項演出極受好評，活耀於各式室內樂的演出活動。 1999年年於國立台南師範學院雅⾳音樓樓、私立東海海⼤大學芳華廳，及⾼高雄市立美術館舉⾏行行個⼈人獨奏會；2006年年受邀與臺北市立中正⾼高級中學⾳音樂班，於台北音樂廳演出莫札特《降E⼤大調交響協奏曲》擔任雙簧管獨奏；2008年年於臺北藝術⼤大學⾳音樂廳「⽞玄之⼜又⽞玄眾妙之⾨門 - 賴德和樂展」演出《雙吹 - 為兩兩⽀支雙簧管的協奏曲》。2012年年與臺北聯聯合管樂團於中⼭山堂演出Cimarosa《雙簧管協奏曲》，及林林姆斯基-⾼高沙可夫《葛令卡的主題與變奏》；同年年9⽉月受國立三重⾼高中⾳音樂班之邀，於台北音樂廳再次演出莫札特《降E⼤大調交響協奏曲》；2014年年4⽉月與雙簧管⼤大師Philippe Tondre於誠品表演廳演出雙簧管⼆二重奏；8⽉月與台北青年年管樂團，於台北音樂廳演出⻄西班牙作曲家Ferrer Ferran《魔法森林林》雙簧管協奏曲；同年年12⽉月於臺北藝術⼤大學⾳音樂廳⾸首演台灣作曲家藍藍美米《⼤大地女神》雙簧管協奏曲；2017年年與台灣愛樂於新年年⾳音樂會演出莫札特《降E⼤大調交響協奏曲》；同年年5⽉月與臺北藝術⼤大學室內樂團在北藝⼤大⾳音樂廳、12⽉月及2018年年1⽉月與台北聯聯合管樂團在中⼭山堂及台北音樂廳、9⽉月與新北⾼高中⾳音樂班管弦樂團在台北音樂廳演出⻄西班牙作曲家Óscar Navarro《遺產》雙簧管協奏曲。 |
曾任2009/2010海海峽和平交響樂團雙簧管⾸首席，亦曾於台北愛樂管弦樂團、普羅藝術家樂團、陽光台北交響樂團、新北市交響樂團、台北世紀交響樂團、樂興之時管絃樂團、天使之翼交響管樂團、台灣絃樂團擔任雙簧管⾸首席。
現任台灣愛樂雙簧管首席、台北青年年管樂團雙簧管首席。
Graduating with a Bachelor's of Music in Oboe Performance at Taipei National University of the Arts under Professor Rong-Yi Liu, I-Ching then went on to her Master's Degree in Oboe Performance at Hochshule für Musik Detmold under Professor Gernot Schmalfuss. She also obtained a Diploma in Chamber Music under Professor Gernot Schmalfuss, Hans-Dietrich Klaus, Helman Jung and Hans-Jörg Wegner. During her time in Germany, I-Ching was often appointed as Principal Oboe in the Detmolder Kammerorchester giving tours throughout the country. She was also the founding member of the chamber group Trio d'Anche that gave many performances that were well-received by critics and audiences. Apart from orchestral and chamber music, I-Ching also actively performs as a soloist. In 1999, she gave solo recitals at National University of Tainan, Tunghai University and Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. In 2006, she was invited to perform as the Oboe soloist in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in Eb, K 297b at the National Concert Hall and in 2008, she performed Deh-Ho Lai's Double Blow -Concerto for Two Oboes at Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2012, I-Ching performed Cimarosa's Oboe Concerto and Rimsky-Korsakov's Variations on a Theme by Glinka at Zhongshan Hall and in the same year, as the Oboe soloist in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in Eb, K 297b at the National Concert Hall. 2014 saw I-Ching collaborate with Philippe Tondre to perform Oboe duets at the Eslite Recital Hall in April, perform Ferrer Ferran's Oboe Concerto El Bosque Mágico with the Taipei Youth Wind Orchestra at National Concert Hall in August and perform the World Premiere of Mei-Mi Lan's "DEA" Concerto for Oboe and Wind Ensemble at Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2017, I-Ching was once again featured as the Oboe soloist in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in Eb, K 297b at the National Concert Hall with Taiwan Philharmonic. I-Ching performed Óscar Navarro's Oboe Concerto Legacy with TNUA Chamber Orchestra at Taipei National University of the Arts in May 2017, with Taipei United Wind Orchestra at Zhongshan Hall and National Concert Hall in December2017 and January 2018 respectively, and with the New Taipei Senior High School Orchestra at National Concert Hall in September 2018. I-Ching Wang holds the position of Oboe Principal in both Taiwan Philharmonic and Taipei Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band
